Our wonderful community of women have been co-creating and imagining brave new realities. Our June meeting, we discussed the types of conscious values we would like to project onto the world (that list is below.) At our July meeting we decided to move from values to a clear vision for the future:
Safe spaces to be vulnerable and authentic Living with nature in abundance Shifting from unconscious, helpless, and trauma to conscious, empowered, and healthy Many examples of courage and leadership More empathy and compassion Selfless giving Kindness and care for animals Connected communities Slower pace Lowered expectations Less stress and more peace and joy
As we approached the end of the list, a group member shared a desire for an antagonist. Others chimed in, “We like a challenge.” “We’re good at solving problems.” “Everyone needs contrast.” “What would we do all day in this utopia, without a villain?” “Duality is more interesting than singularity.” It turns out we’re already living in our state of perfection. In our next meeting, we’ll be exploring ways to embrace our antagonists. I do hope you will join us as we quietly change the world, especially our own.
